Company Profile
National Insulation Pty Ltd started in 2016 previously known as National Integrated Services Pty Ltd was established in 1997 and is located in the South Western Sydney Region.
The senior management has a combined 40 years of experience in the field of Industrial/commercial insulation, sheet metal works
National Insulation has a fully equipped workshop facility at Yennora, where the Head Office is located and is capable of carrying out a wide range of fabrication works.
National Insulation services have a wide range of plant and equipment for Fabrication, and polyurethane foam injection work for offsite and onsite works.
National Insulation undertakes major and small construction projects and Shutdown Maintenance works throughout New South Wales
Both Naval Dockyards, Garden Island and Petro chemical sites such as Orica and Huntsman.

National Insulation offers a wide range of services as listed below. These services are offered for new construction projects, term maintenance works, Turnaround and Inspection works and offsite supply and fabrication.
National Insulation has completed a number of major projects providing a range of insulation services as listed below. The Management and supervision has a combined experience of more than 50 years and has a highly trained and skilled labour to carry out the work in a most cost effective manner while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. NI has a fully equipped sheet metal fabrication workshop to support the on-site installation work.
NI also has a trailer mounted two part polyurethane foam injection unit to carry out in-situ cryogenic insulation work.

Turnaround and Inspection work (T & I)
National Insulation have been an integral part of Turnaround and Inspection works at various Industrial sites such as Caltex Refinery, Shell Refinery, Orica Newcastle, BlueScope Port Kembla, Tallawarra Power Station, Thales and A&P at Garden Island, Albright & Willson
Participation in the T & I work is demanding on resources and planning capabilities. Response time is critical for a successful T & I. National Insulation have experienced Project Managers and Supervisors to meet this demand. NI has a large database for labour and a long term relationship with reputed materials suppliers to meet this requirement.
NI has successfully completed large shutdown works and has an excellent track record.
Capabilities
Multidiscipline Services
National Insulation is capable of delivering multidiscipline services with a single management structure to support both project work and maintenance work. NI offers Supply, Fabrication and Installation of insulation and sheet metal works, Supply and Installation of Heat shield Blankets to meet Solas Specifications. These services are complimentary to each other during any project execution phase and a single management structure will offer better coordination, cost benefits and timely execution.
Alliance/Partnering relationship
NI has a significant Alliance partnership knowledge and experience gained from working at two of Australia’s largest Industrial sites, namely, Caltex and Shell Refineries Now Closed Down.
NI approach to such relationship is a “Win -Win” situation. NI work with the alliance partner to improve work practices, cost benefits by reduction of duplication on overheads, improved productivity by better scheduling and coordination, safety and quality standards.
Productivity benchmarks and measure
This is an era of productivity improvements and cost reductions. NI has recognised this and uses a number of techniques to measure productivity and uses innovations and continuous improvement practices to reduce costs. Man-hours are recorded against the WBS and measured against the budget. Trend analysis is carried out to set the benchmarks for future work.
Work break down structure, lead and lag indicators, development of budgets and use of cost reporting system are some of the techniques used for controlling and reporting costs. NI uses an advanced cost reporting system for their project control.
Alignment with Customer Needs and Expectations
NI offers solutions that are aligned with the customer needs and expectations. Lag and lead indicators are used to measure the performance. A customer feedback is obtained by using Customer survey forms during and after the completion of a project. This feedback helps in evaluating the performance and identifies improvement areas.
Safety and Quality
Safety
NI has an excellent track record in Safety Management. This has been achieved not by luck but a commitment by the senior management and the team to practice the safety procedures, adherence to principles such as “Take 5” or “SPSA” and continuous monitoring and auditing in the field where the action is.
Training and development of personnel is an important element in the NI Safety Management system and the senior management fully support any up-skilling and training requirements that may arise from time to time.
NI has a fully developed Safety Management System and this is periodically reviewed to implement any changes to regulations, any lessons learned from the past.
The goal set by NI team is simple. “No injury, no incidence, no harm to anyone at anytime, anywhere”.
The message of NI team is “Everyone is responsible for safety and everyone shall look after his/her work colleague”.
Techniques such as daily tool box talks, JSA and WMS, safety procedures, training of personnel are used to mitigate the risk.
NI is committed to “Do it right in the first Place” principle and maintaining high standards of quality in the supply of materials and workmanship. NI has a supplier assessment system in place to ensure a reliable and quality supply of insulation materials.
